ANGHELATOS MILTIADIS: Apostle Paul In Greece
Around the year AD 49, on the coast of Troas, the Apostle Paul saw a vision of a man begging him to come to Macedonia. Without hesitation, Paul took up the challenge, sailed to Neapolis with his companions and, visiting city after city, began spreading the gospel, to Philippi, Thessaloniki, Veria, Athens and, finally, Corinth. This book offers a retelling of this fascinating story. By combining information gleaned from archaeological findings and extrabiblical sources with the scriptural text, it enriches the reader΄s understanding of Paul΄s journey, his predicaments and the context within which be preached and wrote his letters. The narrative sections are then followed by guides to the archaeological sites, forums, objects of interest, and remains of early Christian churches of the cities Paul visited.
